How we work with families

Three phases of personalised counselling.

From the first profile review through joining day, one senior advisor guides the family through every decision.

01

Profile assessment

We review the student's scores, academic interests and the family's budget to help you understand which colleges are realistic to consider — and which combinations of branch, location and fees may suit the student.

02

Counselling support

We walk families through KCET and COMEDK rounds, talk through branch-versus-college considerations, and explain eligibility, fees and process for management or NRI quota routes — so each decision feels informed and unhurried.

03

Joining & beyond

We share document checklists and fee-receipt formats, and remain available through the first semester to help with joining-related questions as they come up.

The 2026 admission cycle

Five months from results to joining.

Most engineering admissions in Karnataka run on a tight schedule from May to August. Here's what unfolds, in roughly the order it happens.

Mar – Apr
Entrance exams
KCET (April), COMEDK UGET (mid-May), JEE Main rounds. PUC results around early-May.
May
Results & shortlisting
Rank cards out. Mock counselling, fee planning, document checklists prepared.
Jun – Jul
Centralised counselling
KEA option-entry, KCET rounds 1–3, COMEDK consortium rounds. Choice-filling is decisive here.
Sep – Dec
Joining & first semester
Reporting at the institution. We stay reachable through the first semester for joining-related questions.
What it costs · published by the colleges

Three fees, same seat.

Every VTU-autonomous engineering college in Karnataka publishes three parallel fee structures — KCET, COMEDK and Management — for the same Computer Science seat. Our role is to walk families through the trade-offs.

Numbers pulled from each college's 2025–26 fee notification. KCET fees are set annually by the Karnataka Examinations Authority and aren't included here. All payments go directly to the institution — eAdmision does not handle, collect or remit fees on behalf of any college. Verify against the official sheet before any transfer.

Frequently asked

Questions families often ask.

Is the first call really free?

Yes. The first call is a 30–45 minute discovery conversation with a senior advisor. You'll come away with a written shortlist by email — even if you decide not to engage us further.

How are you paid?

The family pays a flat one-time fee, disclosed in writing before any engagement starts. We don't receive payment from any college or institution.

My child's KCET rank is on the higher side. Is engineering still an option?

Most likely, yes. Beyond government-seat allotment, COMEDK and management routes at several colleges remain available across a wide range of ranks. We can walk you through the options that may be realistic for your specific score — and also discuss whether a parallel stream (allied sciences, design, commerce) is worth considering.

Do you guarantee a seat or an admission?

No. We are an independent educational counselling platform and are not affiliated with any college. Admission decisions are made by the institutions and central counselling authorities. Our role is to help families understand the process and explore suitable options — not to promise or influence outcomes.

Do you work with families outside Bengaluru and Chennai?

Yes. Most calls happen over phone or video. We meet in person if you're in Bengaluru or Chennai. Document handling is largely remote.
